# Lucid Scientific > Lucid Scientific is the maker of Resipher — a non-invasive cell culture monitor that measures real-time oxygen consumption rate (OCR) directly from inside a standard incubator, enabling continuous bioenergetic profiling of live cells without disturbing the culture. Resipher works with standard 96-well plates and any culture type (2D monolayers, 3D organoids, tissue slices, embryos). It supports bioenergetic profiling of mitochondrial electron transport chain (ETC) function, fatty acid oxidation (FAO) substrate metabolism, ATP-linked respiration, spare capacity, and proton leak. It is used as a continuous, non-invasive alternative to endpoint assays such as Seahorse. ## Pages - [Home](https://lucidsci.com/): Overview of Resipher and continuous bioenergetics. - [Resipher](https://lucidsci.com/resipher): The Resipher device — overview, specifications, and the Lucid Lab analysis software. - [Why OCR?](https://lucidsci.com/ocr): The science of measuring oxygen consumption rate and why it matters for cell health and metabolism. - [Resources](https://lucidsci.com/resources): Peer-reviewed publications, how-to videos, documentation, the research notebook, and FAQ. - [Products](https://lucidsci.com/products): Purchase Resipher systems, starter kits, and sensing lids. - [About](https://lucidsci.com/about): Company background and leadership team. - [Research Notebook](https://lucidsci.com/notes): Technical notes on cell-culture bioenergetics (e.g. oxygen diffusion dynamics). - [Contact](https://lucidsci.com/#contact): Contact form for demos, quotes, and questions. ## Publications A curated, continuously updated list of peer-reviewed publications and preprints that used Resipher to measure cellular oxygen consumption is maintained on the [Resources page](https://lucidsci.com/resources). Each entry includes the paper title, full citation, research area, cell lines, publish date, and a link to the paper, and the list is marked up with schema.org structured data (an ItemList of ScholarlyArticle) so it is machine-parseable. Research areas span cancer and tumor metabolism, immunometabolism and cell therapy (CAR-T), retinal disease, neurobiology, infectious disease and drug discovery, diabetes and islet biology, and mitochondrial dysfunction. ## Documentation - [Research Notebook: Oxygen Diffusion in Cell Culture](https://lucidsci.com/notes?entry=oxygen_diffusion): Technical note on oxygen diffusion dynamics. ## Contact - Email: info@lucidsci.com - Phone: +1 (617) 237-0665 - Address: 1708 Peachtree St NW STE 415, Atlanta, GA 30309-7022
